Molly Woodward is a documentary photographer and graphic designer born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She is a graduate of the Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism program at the International Center of Photography, holds an MA in Design Research, Writing, and Criticism from the School of Visual Arts, and a BFA in Graphic Design from RISD.

Her work has been published in Vice, The Huffington Post, Hyperallergic, Il Post, La Repubblica, Landscape Architecture Magazine, and featured on NHK, Japan’s national television news network.

Vernacular Typography, her long-term project documenting the fading typographic landscape around the world, was fiscally-sponsored by New York Foundation for the Arts and exhibited in a solo show at the Usagi Gallery in Brooklyn, New York.
